On starting, the system opens the general purpose window of the
application.
The subsidiary inset window is the Scintron® Acquisition Module (SAM)
which controls the acquisition process. This window can be made large
for acquisition setup at any time.
To start the acquisition time the user will enlarge the SAM and choose
all one of the protocols for the study of interest and proceed to the
start acquisition button when the patient is ready.
The multi tasking design of the Scintron® allows the user to first set
the acquisition, then allows the user to revert back to the processing
of the previous study while checking on the current acquisition.
